Chart-topping duo Jedward have teamed up with Olympic medallist Iwan Thomas today, to encourage kids around the UK to sign up for free Aviva Startrack sessions this summer.

Aviva is offering youngsters up and down the country the chance to try out athletics in a fun environment at no cost, as part of their Aviva Startrack programme - providing the next generation of British athletes a chance to get involved in the sport for free.

X Factor stars Jedward are backing the scheme as they are keen athletes; competing for their local club in Ireland on a regular basis before they shot to stardom.

Aviva Startrack was where World Heptathlon Champion Jessica Ennis began her athletics journey; her first steps to winning her World Championship Gold medal were taken at her first Aviva Startrack camp in Sheffield. Iwan Thomas also shows his support and belief in the programme today at the launch of the free Aviva Startrack sessions; the Olympic medallist believes that it is it is really important that kids are involved in sport in a fun and engaging way.
